# Cant compile for e3 v2 4.2.2

no matter what options I select or deselect, I receive the same errors. I have tried multiple times repeatedly with no headway. error is:

Errors:  
Marlin/src/MarlinCore.cpp: In function ‘void setup()’:

Marlin/src/MarlinCore.cpp:1586:15: error: ‘dwinInitScreen’ was not declared in this scope; did you mean ‘DWIN\_InitScreen’?

It looks like there’s currently a bug in some DWIN screen rework that is currently ongoing.

There’s this PR that is getting things ready:

> PR and guidance for case update to ProUI consistent with other UI standards. Pro…UI updates are pending so this is in holding mode until after the ProUI updates PR is merged.

Once that is merged, and the ProUI update is merged, builds will start working again.

In theory, it should be working again now.
