# Ender 3 v2 - Custom Firmware Builder Not Including ABL Support

Everywhere else I checked said that the better way to do this was in the firmware…

I tried 3 builds:

- b75567a6
- 0abac728
- 8214206e

TBH the firmware builder is a great idea but it just seems that it is completely disconnected from the main builds. For now I am just using Jyers.

As it is at the moment it seems impossible to replicate a prebuild in the builder and just customise the parts you want to. I think that a useful feature would be the ability to import a prebuild profile into the builder and tweak it from there. I’m developer and would be willing to volunteer some time into improving the builder.
