I used the firmware builder recently to generate a firmware which I thought worked until I hooked up my raspberry pi to the micro USB port on front and the pi wouldn’t recognize it now. I tried other firmwares and they all seem to allow it to work fine.

Is there something I need to check mark with the firmware creator tool to allow it to function?

There shouldn’t be. Just check to make sure the baud rate is correct.

I’m not exactly sure which Ender 5 / Mainboard combo you have, but try to find the match here:

> bugfix-2.1.x/config/examples/Creality

That’s where the base config comes from.

Thanks for input. I ended up building another firmware with BFT enabled and that enabled my pi connection again. I think I have everything else working I have to test the filament sensor still.
