# Newbie again.. performing an upgrade

Ok, I’ve done one upgrade previously (Ender 3 Pro 8-bit) but I used Arduino to add a bootloader and then the Arduino IDE to update the firmware…seems pertty complex…

Do the bin files that I download from the firmware service make this simpler ?  
What is the easiest way to perform an upgrade  
(I don’t see any instructions here anywhere)
