After flashing Firmware BL touch no longer recognized

I am running a 4.2.2 ender 3 with a direct drive and a BL touch. Was working well, flashed newest BL touch file (Ender3-v4.2.2-BLTouch-20230220.bin) and now printer does not recognize it has a bl touch. I have tried flashing the stock firmware back and then back to multiple different marlin firmware date and still no BL touch controls.

also when i power up the printer the BL touch does its normal in out in out self test.

Any help would be much appreciated.

After a lot of tries just flashing random firmware to try to get it to reset i made my own from the site and then it finally took, changed it back to the file listed above and it worked. not sure what the hang up was.
