I’m using the nightly build for my Ender 3 Max 4.2.7.
I have upgraded my hot end to the Micro Swiss Direct Drive, and now I would like to increase the maximum temperature from 260 to 300C. Any easy way to do this?
Thanks, Eric

You would need to do this in the Firmware Builder.
I believe the recommended maximum for the MS-DD is 285c - but I can’t quite find that atm…
Yes I will try the Firmware Builder… I was hoping for a solution without having to re-flash
And yes, the MSDD allows you to get to 300c. It’s all metal And also mentioned in their doc
What did you figure out? I have same issue, different DD but all metal.
You have to customize your own firmware. But, I moved to Klipper
Lol thanks for the response. What are you running the Klipper on?
There is a 15deg heating limit window in Marlin. If you absolutely need 300 your max needs to be higher by at least 15deg. Verify thermistor limits and accuracy near limits.
