machine: ender 3 pro with 4.2.2 board, ret6 (512k) chip
probe: cr touch attached to touch probe port on board
firmware version: Ender3-v4.2.2-BLTouch-20260221.bin
an issue and a question:
Issue 1. when i go through bed leveling, either from lcd screen or prior to a print (using the startup gcode to trigger a bed level prior to each print with cura), as the machine is going through the bed leveling process, the lcd screen shows a constant z height. in other words, as the probe goes through each of the 25 points, the min and max z height is always the same
when i go to print, when i feel the z screws with my fingers, the machine is making minute adjustments so it is mechanically adjusting the z height during the print.
issue/question 2: the “babystep probe z” is the same as a babystep command, i.e. i minutely adjusts the nozzle height during the print, correct?
