EEPROM upstart error on Ender 3 pro with latest firmware build

Greetings from Sweden!
Downloaded the latest FW build for my Ender 3 Pro with 4.2.7 board (Ender3-v4.2.7-Stock-20220109.bin), but get “EEPROM version error, Initialize EEPROM?” Now Ignore or Reset are the two choices. Pressing Reset nothing happens, pressing Ignore the new FW is in charge, and printing is done, seemingly w/o problems.

Any suggestions?

Normally this is because the EEPROM data structure has changed.

Press “Reset” and then save any new settings via the menu or the M500 command.

It seems to have done the trick!
Excellent, and thank you!

Small follow-up question (entirely OT!)
If I add a Creality colour touch screen to my E3Pro (4.2.7) then I can use the E3V2 FW instead?

I don’t believe so - I think the touchscreen is something different again.

Ok, so no ready-to-go FW updates available for the touch screen then. Anything that might show up in any not too far away future?

I’m not aware of any work to make this touchscreen work in Marlin…
