I would like to see if there is a solution for the an ender 3 max with the sprite extruder pro and the cr touch. There isn’t enough current running through my sprite extruder pro for both the cr touch and extruder. I wanna see if anyone has a code for this fix since the stock creality firmware doesn’t work. So I will need a different solution or a custom marlin my board is 4.2.2.
This issue is so annoying
I have the same one, I have tried for months with still no solution in sight
I’ve replaced every component and built hundreds of firmware versions to no avail
I was able to fix it to a point with creality firmware and connecting the cr touch directly to the motherboard with the cable provided with the cr touch. It was the only way it would work.
I was having the same problem and ready to uninstall the new extruder, yeah I tried everything including old firmware new firmware 3rd party firmware……so on…
My last shot was took off part of the new cable from motherboard for CR touch and use the old cable come with my old cr touch directly
And wala!
After reinstall the new firmware from here, everything works , and for some crazy reason, my old ender 3 max runs 3 times faster now, just like seeing my grandma running in Olympic, lol
Is your firmware creality or a 3rd party? since now sometimes my firmware will restart to factory settings and then my printer might be frozen in the screen before the ender screen
lol, all same all same
I thought I lost my motherboard when the screen freeze, it would not take any firmware
I ordered a 4.2.7 motherboard right away, since I have a new board coming, I decided to try everything I could (if I couldn’t get the new board working, I still have time to return the extruder anyway)
So I downloaded the old firmware from creality, it worked, after that, I just didn’t have the guts to touch any firmware , the printer wasn’t working, but at least I got my screen back
After I swapped out the cable for cr touch, I installed the new firmware from creality, it worked, and now it works perfectly with any other firmware as well, I have no idea how this happened
The new firmware default settings are a bit weird, you will have to manually adjust settings of each speed to slow it down (now that let you change those settings on your printer)
I switched out the cable but im still having the issue with the screen so idk whats going on. I got the 4.2.2 board if you can help.
I would take the extruder down and check out that board on it, must be short with some metal parts or something like that
I found one on my cable
