Ender 3 V2 with a bigtreetech octopus v1.1

Hello i a trying to compile a VsCode file for my Octopus v1.1 that will reside in my ender 3 v2. the problem i am having is that i am getting an error while using the Auto Build Marlin extension that states “Your Configuration.h file is for a newer version of Marlin. Upgrade Marlin or downgrade your Configuration.h.”
I am unsure how i acan fix this without losing the info i have complied thus far.

please help.

This is not a problem with this site - but if you’re building yourself, you need to make sure the configuration file you have is for the version of Marlin you are building for.

If you got the code from git, make sure you are cloning the correct branch etc…
