Ender 3 - v4.2.2 with touch LCD screen - SD card doesn't "refresh"

Due to a disability, I need the LCD touch screen and I’m having trouble with FW since I have a 4.2.2 board.

I have the Creality FW (both the DWIN on the screen and .bin on the board) and I can get by, but it won’t refresh the SD card when reinserting it. It requires a power cycle and it can get quite annoying, especially when I’m preheating or put in the wrong SD card first.

FW is out there if I had a BL Touch or Creality touch but I don’t yet. I got my Ender 3 a couple months ago and I’m hoping to wait to upgrade my board because I might want to just get a newer printer.

The standard Marlin doesn’t really support the Creality Touchscreens as yet.

If you do get one, you can try the Insanity Automation Marlin fork - which does have support for a number of touchscreens.
