I used the firmware builder recently to generate a firmware which I thought worked until I hooked up my raspberry pi to the micro USB port on front and the pi wouldn’t recognize it now. I tried other firmwares and they all seem to allow it to work fine.
Is there something I need to check mark with the firmware creator tool to allow it to function?
There shouldn’t be. Just check to make sure the baud rate is correct.

Thanks for input. I ended up building another firmware with BFT enabled and that enabled my pi connection again. I think I have everything else working I have to test the filament sensor still.
