Help please - Frankenstein build firmware!

Hi, I’ve just built up an Ender 3v2 with an SKR Mini E3v2 board, BTT TFT35 E3V3 screen, BLTouch, Filament sensor and a standard (so far!!) Hemera Hotend/extruder. I’m intending to be printing functional parts and will probably end up working with nylon.

I’m new to compiling firmware and have been having a lot of trouble getting past a problem with the PlatformIO.ini recognising the build environment.

I’ve looked at the firmware builder options and don’t see any options for all my parts, especially the TFT.

Is it still possible to have a build made with a proper .bin file please??

Might be a large bonfire of printer bits soon.

The TFT screen is automatically enabled when building for the SKR Mini E3 V2 boards. There’s no special options for that.

You should be able to select the hemera option which should preset things for that hotend.

Given that you’re not using the Ender 3 V2 screen, you should probably be able to use the Ender 3 + SKR Mini E3 v2 board and get a usable output.

Given the Hemera is likely mounted different to the Ender 3 - you might have to twiddle with the Y_MIN_POS and X_MIN_POS settings to suit your build.
