Hi all, I have tried to build my own firmware with the builder but just get error messages all the time. I am looking for a little help please. I need new firmware that has 800mm Z and 440mm Y axis. I have built it for a speical project. Any help would be apprecated. Thanks Dan
Certain features being set on at the same time cause errors. You would have to set a feature “on” and another to “off” because they are options and do not auto populate the other setting when you have both checked. I encountered this with my builds too. You have to know which functions you are specifically going to use and experiment to get a build to go properly.
For example in the additional features section, you must choose either “Binary File Transfer” or “Meatpack” to be on but not both or the build will fail. I’m sure there are other settings that may conflict but I can’t think of any and have not encountered them as of yet. There may be problems if you choose the wrong display for your machine too so be sure it’s correct.
