Latest Nightly Ender 3 4.2.2

I have tried dling the firmware and it works but when I try to print the extruder is making a harsh clicking sound as if I have the z offset too close but I dont. I then have to turn the flow rate down to 80% and turn the temp up to stop the clicking. If I try to print the dog or cat gcode included with ender 3 pro it prints out nice. If I try slicing a benchie it prints like garbage clicks and the extruder stops and starts. I calibrated the e steps and it is spot on. So Im at a loss. I tried using the builder to build my own firmware but I cant get the probe xy offset set properly.

Please help.

Are you sure the clicking isn’t a clog?

To me, this seems more like slicer settings than firmware settings…
