Hi all, I’m new to 3D printing and have an Ender 3 V2 and have been using Fusion 360 for both modelling and slicing. A friend advised me about retraction settings and I’ve seen improvement in strings since implementing adjustments in Fusion, however just today I noticed there are also settings right on my Ender 3 (using Marlin’s latest stock FW). From what I gather the Fusion settings are likely being used right now, vice the settings in the FW because the slicer would have to allow HW retraction. I don’t see where Fusion has a hardware retraction setting. Can anyone confirm my understanding and/or comment on Fusions ability here.
