The stepper drivers for the ender 5 v4.2.7 board are set wrong and i can’t change them. It is making the printer louder because it thinks they are TMC 2208 when in reality they should be TMC 2225.
It doesn’t really matter - the Creality v4.2.2 and v4.2.7 boards are all wired in A4988 compatibility mode anyway with no UART control of the stepper.
As such, it doesn’t matter what they are set as.
Are you sure? When I used the creality firmware from their website it seemed quiter.
