Ender 3 w/ BL/CR Touch - Soft Stops make it unable to get my z-probe offset close enough

I updated my firmware on my Ender 3, which also has a CR Touch. I just leveled the bed and I am trying to find my z probe offset, but it no longer will go into negative numbers. So, I’m unable to get my nozzle close enough to the build plate. Is there a way to get it to go into the negative numbers? Could this be added to the firmware? I’m new to 3D printing.
